My introduction to skydiving was a tandem skydive at Skydive Swansea to raise money for armed forces charities in the UK. It is something I had always said I would love to try, and my fiancée arranged via a friend for us to raise money, and jump. After doing the tandem jump, I knew I wanted more, and started to google on where to go next. This blog was started in August 2013, so the first posts are backdated, and will be linked in with my posts on the website www.ukskydiver.co.uk as well as youtube.
Following on from the tandem jump in February 2013, I then did some wind tunnel AFF training in March 2013. I booked an AFF course in Empuriabrava, Spain for the end of June / beginning of July, before returning to Wales, UK, to continue jumping.
This blog will be a jump by jump online record of my journey through skydiving, from a complete newbie, to wherever I may end up in the future.
